A Local’s Guide: Things to Do in Greenville, South Carolina

Welcome to FASHION and WELLNESS blog, The Audrey Reel based out of GREENVILLE, South Carolina. I am proud to call this friendly, sunny town nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains my HOMETOWN. I am an 11th GENERATION Greenvillite – as least as far as my grandmother recalls.

My grandfather was a local socialite that played PIANO in many old restaurants in bars throughout town. He even had a restaurant, LANGLEY’S, that stood in the current McAllister’s Square. It was based on his love for the piano and included a floor piano made by the same man who made the one for the movie BIG.  My parents went to EASTSIDE and PARKER High Schools.  My TEEN YEARS consisted of trips between Coffee Underground and Spill the Beans. The bridge did not even exist yet.

Needless to say my PASSION for this town runs deep. Today, I have rounded up some of my all-time FAVORITE businesses, restaurants, and THINGS TO DO IN GREENVILLE, SC.

Greenville, South Carolina has consistently racked up travelers AWARDS and best small town for every other title you can fathom. Although the latest population totals only 68,000+, Greenville is no one-stoplight town. New establishments popping up constantly and tourists can get a little lost.

I also receive a lot of inquiries on Instagram from people headed into town or relocating. Today I wanted to share the TRIED AND TRUE best of the best so you don’t waste any time if you only have a short weekend. I am also working on a weekend itinerary in Greenville, South Carolina – coming SOON. If I have created a blog post at any of the locations below, I have linked them. Otherwise, the establishment’s link is below. Let me know if you have any questions!
