I would probably feel today’s look is not enough with just a sweater and the leggings. Outfit Details
This outfit could not be more chic, yet comfortable. I felt like I was wearing pajamas! I follow the rule of thumb that a top should at minimum cover your bum if you are wearing leggings.
The leggings are Spanx and they are ultra-compressive and shaping. They have a shiny, dressier finish. These are my favorite black legging as they are thick, seamed, and more formal than a cotton pair. I am wearing a size SMALL, for reference, and I am a size 2-4 or 26 in jeans.
The Shoes
Finally, these Sam Edelman kitten heel slip-ons are the final touch to this look. The neutral beige blends in with your skin to elongate your leg. They have a high-designer look as they are fashioned after the famous Chanel cap-toes. However, these are much more wallet-friendly and comfortable! The kitten-height block heel provides a boost of confidence and femininity. Simultaneously, I could walk miles in these. They match everything and level up any outfit. I especially love the contrast between the ultra-feminine heels and edgy Panama hat. The off-whites in this entire look match to a tee.
