What I’ve Been Up To

Good Afternoon and Merry 2024! It’s been a couple years since I actively wrote blog posts, but I wanted to share all i have done creatively for those interested. God has continually answered prayer after prayer for us. We have grown so much as a family these past couple years! Let’s start from the top:

We remodeled the home we currently live for much of 2020. We also had Indi, who is now 4, as well as our recent addition, “baby Ford” who just turned 1. They are the light of our lives and I am regularly stopped in my tracks with gratitude and awe of them.

My jump to real estate resulted in my using creative and marketing skills for my employer, Enchanted Homes. Thus, I am now Marketing Director of Enchanted Homes and Cornerstone Real Estate Group. I handle Google and Meta ad management, online reputation and PR, web optimization, social media management, and website management. I order and maintain Matterport or virtual tours, photography and videography, agent resources, and all print for Enchanted’s subdivisions. I do quite a bit of design and even send out regular email blasts for our homes. I initiated and completed a website redesign thats has more than tripled our online sessions and provides much more detail for potential buyers. I truly love my job and the folks at Enchanted. The job was an answered prayer after years of uncertainty about my move out of the chemicals industry.

We joined Buncombe Street Methodist Church in 2021 and the church has been yet another answered prayer that has allowed us to grow closer to Christ and eachother. Our kids were baptized there and we are more active each year. In 2024, Brad and I are doing “The Bible Recap” that entails reading through the entire Bible Chronologically with a daily devotional on what we read. We are a quarter of the way through and definitely feel like we made it through some of the tough spots in the Torah, like Leviticus and Numbers.

Since I have a couple days off during the week, I decided to start a few new things:

1. Painting – I’ve always painted and am working to build enough pieces to release my first collection. This webpage is getting renamed from TheAudreyReel, which was a fashion and positivity blog, to more of my creative home page. In the future, this site will be moved to AudreyDuncan.com and will include a spot to shop my art prints and originals.
2. Etsy POD Shop – I love designed and decided to share some of the designs I’ve made for my hubs on Etsy. My shop has over 30 sales now and I really enjoy creating them!

3. Duncan Marketing Services – I have some free time, so I decided to market my ad, social media, and online marketing services to other small businesses in the area.
