My style is not exactly one that can be labeled. Sometimes I go for a bohemian look, yet some days I am in slacks and a blazer. At times, I like cute and trendy items and other times I prefer monochromatic basics. Today I wanted to share this colorful off-the-shoulder top I wore to the new Terrace Restaurant. I definitely classify this look as cutesy and not an outfit that I would wear every day, but it was perfect for a casual Saturday brunch with my hubby!
As I mentioned, we had brunch at Terrace on Saturday during their soft opening. They officially opened May 22. They have a great brunch menu including red-velvet-cake waffles and many brunch options. The prices are reflective of the high-quality ingredients used and great location on Main Street of Greenville, SC. I think this is the best Gluten-free waffle I have ever tasted. In addition, everything was very fresh. Although I am (tested and) allergic to gluten, I really want to go back to try the RED VELVET WAFFLE for which they are known. They menu listed several gluten free options designated with a (GF) beside the plate names. Our waiter was glad to go ask the chef about any allergens in certain meals.
Next- what i wore. I think we can all agree we find items we love and they can have all sorts of differing themes. I love the off-shoulder looks as they are so feminine. When I saw this colorful, gingham, tie-shoulder tank I had to have it! It matches with basically every earring set I own.
I have worn it a few times, but wanted to share it before it sold out. I wanted to bring out the color so I paired it with black shorts with pink and aqua flowers, yellow and pink bracelets, yellow Vanessa Mooney earrings, and these pink Sam Edelman Slides.
The staff is fun, friendly, and sweet! I did not catch this sweet lady’s name, but she was quick to find us a seat and I love how she styled her headband and scarf!
Brad ordered the Full Breakfast for $12 including a gluten-free waffle he requested for an extra $2 for us to split. In addition, I ordered a side of fruit and bacon, $5 and $4, consecutively. Mimosas are $8 each. We agreed that it would have been more economical to get an actual plate rather than go a la carte, but I was being rather indecisive while looking at the menu!
The food was fresh and delicious and we had such a fun time enjoying the beautiful weather downtown and the great views! We sat in one of the front dining areas by a window lining Main Street.
