Navy with Paige Pink Cropped Jeans

Good Morning! I am finally almost 100 and feeling better after having a flu-mimicking virus last week. I am traveling to a tradeshow next week in Houston, TX for work. Until then, I am keeping my looks pretty casual. Today I wanted to share this look that is a common casual look for me and a great pair of on-trend cropped jeans. I have quite a bit of pink and navy and love to blend the two often. This look works for a casual church, casual Friday, dinner with friends, a movie, and more!

First, this Paige denim combines 2 major trends this year: 1. Colored denim 2. Crops. I love the shape of crops as they elongate the legs. Crops are excellent to show off a pair of daring heels or darling flats. These denim fit to a tee and are a little high-waisted. I am wearing a size 26, for reference.

Next, I paired these with a simple, tight navy long-sleeve shirt I bought last year at J.Crew. I LOVE the ruffled sleeves and neckline. I styled it layered in another pink and navy look HERE. A tight, long-sleeve shirt with a crew or turtleneck is very feminine. It also gives a put-together appearance and elevates a look.

Finally, I threw on this beautiful Banded2Gether.com Fedora with matching bandana. I LOVE Banded2Gether products as they are quality, curated, and edgy style that are affordable AND give back to the community. Read more about the brand HERE.

What are your favorite color combinations to reach for? I favor neutrals and black, so when I come up with a colorful look I am a definite outfit repeater. Do you own colored or cropped jeans for this spring and summer?

As I mentioned, I am headed to the Polyolefins tradeshow in Houston, TX next week. I’m excited because this is both my first tradeshow for work and my first trip to Texas ever! I know Houston is not the most glamorous city in Texas, but I am going to try and stop by their really nice mall that includes designer stores. I love to browse and see what is hot and look at the quality fabrics. Have you ever been to Houston? Stay tuned for a workwear series of 3 after the tradeshow! Have a great week!

With Joy, Audrey
