Happy Monday Everyone! I spend my 8-5 PM in the corporate world and often my closet needs to include quite a variety to keep me looking professional and cute. Ir recently realized that my old Express slacks were looking worn, stretched, and sad. The hems were undone and I have a bad habit of overestimating my size and always end up with wide legs. I decided I needed some new pants and headed to loft during their 40% OFF sale a couple weeks ago. I regretted not grabbing the tunic, seen first below. When I saw they were offering 50% off EVERYTHING, with $25 OFF $100 for signing up for emails, and several items were featured at $20, I knew I had to share the news. It may be in your best interest to know your size before ordering. They offer a broad petite range. I wear regular XXS to S, depending on the cut. I wear a Regular 0 in the Julie slacks, and a Regular 2 in the Marisa slacks. The Julie fit hugs curvy bottoms and the Marisa is a straight cut through the hips for more androgynous figures. I prefer an XS in most of their dresses, XS in tops, and a Small in their leggings. For reference, I am typically an XS top, S or size 2 dress, and 4R at Express in Jeans.
Buying Loft clothing is guilt free due to the affordable prices, super sales, and high quality clothing. The quality is on par with J. Crew and all the cuts are appropriate for work. I purchased a bell sleeve pale grey sweater that is a great addition to my closet, neutral yet bright, and has great fit and sing. I am a Small in the sweater. The plaid tie peplum tunic is perfect for fall over leggings or pants and with booties or over-the-knee boots. I am an XS. I also purchased an olive green buttoned skirt since A-line skirts huge now. The skirt fits right at the top of the hip and gently hugs your rear while also flaring at the bottom. I am a size 0.
