Classic Casual Friday Closet Staples: Polka Dots and Cardigans

Happy Friday sweet souls! If you watched my Instagram story (@theaudreyreel) last week you will see that this casual Friday look was supposed to air last week. Unfortunately my internet was out so I was unable to even save all I had written. Basically, this is my absolute favorite casual Friday look yet; I love classic polka dots and cardigans and you can never go wrong combining classic pieces. The layering aspect assures you are never cold or too hot, which is an essential for South Carolina spring fashion.

Each of the pieces below are absolute classic closet staples: big mirrored sunnies, a ‘pop-of-color’ bag, high-waisted flares, a polka dot (or striped) blouse, a navy cardigan, the khaki trench coat, to the Converse All-Stars! If you are looking for classic pieces you can wear 5 years from now, any of the below pieces would be a great addition to your closet!

Madewell offers free custom hemming on all their jeans and the name, Made-well, most definitely fits. These barely look worn and I have worn them once a week since last summer.

Although Quay sunglasses are adorable, I cannot attest to the durability and they do not offer polarized versions yet, but these mirrored lenses are fun and fit my small face! I typically can only buy 48-53 mm sunglasses or they look too large on my face.

The MAC lipsticks are classics and they have great colors. I stocked up on 3 lippies lately via Nordstrom’s website.
