Hi everyone and happy Friday! I wanted to share this adorable pajama set I snagged from ASOS.com for our Belize trip. After reading The Joy of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, I tossed all of my old assorted pajama shorts, tanks, and holey tees that I used to wear to bed.
I have three nice sets of pajamas that I primarily wear and these old pieces did not bring me joy (the ideology described in the book), so I decided to look for a replacement set. I now have 4 adorable pairs of pajamas. They say to invest your money in items that one uses most often: bedding and sheet sets, bath towels, pillowcases, etc. If you are a pajama sleeper, as opposed to the lack thereof, you should invest in some comfortable and cute sets. I am a big fan of silky fabrics and pretty much always go for a tank and shorts set.
If you regularly read my blog you may know that I am super frugal and only spend money on things I REALLY want. Usually, I only ever REALLY want expensive things I can wear during the day. Of course, this means that pajamas are the last item I think about when making purchases or checking out sales.
When I ran across this set on ASOS.com for just $21 I ordered it immediately. ASOS.com is one of my favorite online retailers and I paid $20 for a year of free 2-day shipping. You can order at 11:59 on a Wednesday and you will receive your package promptly on Friday!
ASOS.com has tons of adorable pajama styles. I am dying to order THIS set and THIS set!

Pajamas are an item I do not typically purchase for myself. As a result, it is a nice item to buy when you are looking to make a self-care purchase. If you have to feel terrible for spending all day in your pajamas, you might as well at least look adorable!
Forever 21 and Aerie also have some soft and affordable pajama options.

It is an affordable and fun way to brighten up your nighttime routine and feel better when you wake up and see yourself in the mirror.
Occasionally, I will write a mantra or note on my mirror to help start my day on a positive note. Go write something positive on your mirror to focus on this weekend!
With Joy,
Audrey
