123FRÉ Sensitive Skincare Set for a Fitness Lifestyle

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I wanted to tell you about an incredible skincare range that I have come to love and value! I get technical below, but bear with me because I have included valuable information about beauty and chemicals. The 123FRÉ Skincare formulation is for women and men whom enjoy a sweaty, fit, and active lifestyle.  123FRÉ Skincare is a neutral line derived of Argan oil, leaf water, and stem cells that protects, purifies, and revives. Stay tuned to the end for a special offer Fre Skincare has extended to my readers, – a coupon code for you!

You may know that I have suffered from severe allergies my entire life. Not the sneezing, runny nose in fall and spring kind. I mean I put on a new product and form redness and bumps everywhere I put it. I mean that if I eat the wrong this I can be covered in hives, eczema, mystery rashes, cold sores, body soreness, extreme bloat, vomiting, or anaphylaxis indefinitely until my immune system works itself back out.

Recently, I had a reaction to the Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) in an eye cream I really loved. I broke out with perioral dermatitis on my eyelids and nose. I am only tolerant of Cerave lotion on my face and it is thick and smells medicinal. The one beauty product I have stuck with for years to plump and soften my face are Argan oils. Josie Maran’s straight argan oil has been a go-to for moisture and plumpness, but the remainder of my skincare routine has been desperately lacking power.

Why Skincare is Important

When Fre Skincare contacted me to test their 123FRÉ skincare line, designed for those who sweat as a part of her lifestyle, I was interested to see what chemicals the products contained. The set is made of a protecting light moisturizer with SPF 30, a purifying hydrating cleanser with light exfoliation, and a reviving serum that regenerates moisture, vitamins, collagen, and cells.

By day as a Regulatory specialist, I write safety data sheets for a metalworking lubricant and surfactant company. We sell PEGS, propylene glycol, SLS, Diethanolamine, and hundreds of chemicals that have emulsifying, lubricating, wetting, detergent, and cleaning properties. The surfactants and chemicals we use to spray at a metal machine to prevent fusing, maintain a plastic consistency, or sell as cleaners for carwashes are the SAME chemicals found in your shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and skincare. Finally, I CHALLENGE YOU: go look at your shampoo and see how many PEG-200, sodium laureth sulfate, DEA, or parabens etc. you subject your skin to daily.

Since I create the safety data sheets, I know many of these are skin, eye, and respiratory irritants and are sometimes corrosive, toxic to aquatic life, or possess acute toxicity (harmful if swallowed). Our porous faces alone adsorb 5 pounds of chemicals annually. Therefore, it is essential to know to what you are subjecting your body and skin.

I was ecstatic to see that all Fre products are free of Parabens, SLS, Mineral oils, DEA, Petrolatum, PEGs, propylene glycols. The set was hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, and ophthalmologist tested. This means it does not clog pores and is safe for eyes per dermatologist and ophthalmologist approval. Since it read like it could be safe, I decided to give it a chance.

123FRÉ Skincare Experience

The packaging is beautiful and contained a handy carry bag. I began use with the PROTECT ME Defense Facial Moisturizer contains SPF 30. I worked the lightweight moisturizer into my skin each morning and left until absorbed. The PROTECT ME reduces premature aging, shields UVA, UVB, & IRA rays, combats photo-aging, and softens skin through moisturizing ingredients.

Next, after my thrice-weekly 5:45 PM yoga class, I use the PURIFY ME Hydrating Facial Cleanser. The product has tiny jojoba beads to gently exfoliate, hydrate, and restore the natural skin pH. The Argania Active Complex removes sweat, dead cells, and impurities. I rinsed this product after massaging it throughout my skin.

Finally, after yoga, jogging, or at night for rest days, I massaged a thin layer of the REVIVE ME Deep Replenishing Serum into my skin. Serums are the next skincare product now that manufacturers are seeing just how much product our skin adsorbs. There is also a push for serums with the increased popularity of microneedling. Fre’s REVIVE ME Serum regenerates collagen & elasticity, replenishes lost vitamins, improves skin firmness and density, and combats aging.

The Chemicals We Want

I informed you what to avoid in beauty products, but what about the positive? Argania Active Complex protects against aging, sun, and environmental pollutants. Argan stem cells restore that top layer of skin and elasticity which is especially important for those with eczema. The stem cells creates plumpness, a youthful glow, and reduces fine lines. Essential fatty acids and hyaluronic acid reduce depth of wrinkles and thicken skin. Sterols and matrixyl deeply regulate and moisture skin. Squalene promotes product absorption. Finally, hydroviton and some of the above ingredients helps strengthen the skin and maintains the water barrier.

After several weeks of use, I saw no skin irritation or reaction. In addition, I feel moisturized and have a healthy glow to my skin. Next an Argan Tree is planted for every 123 Fre set sold. Fre products are VEGAN and NEVER tested on animals. Finally, Fre Skincare has offered my readers an excellent offer!
