Good Morning! It is International Women’s Day today. I do not remember this day last year. Perhaps this is the first year I have noted and celebrated it. I love that I am noticing so much more attention related to the day. The women in our lives hardly get enough credit and acknowledgement.
In the past few years I have spent a lot of time examining other women from afar. I am interested in what makes people successful or likeable. In addition, I think we all experience life and the human experience in our own unique ways. I have come to realize that we all have our troubles. People brag on my life and I am over here thinking, “Why do they think that? Of course, none of us give ourselves enough credit. On the other hand, I often look at how women reflect themselves on social media and begin the comparison game. We are all in awe of one another. Yet we are all working with an endless passion and love for the world.
Men, yes, have their place and vital role in society. But there is something about the strong, loving, kind woman that loves and cares genuinely.
I have also unfortunately noted how commonly women feel threatened, insecure, and it comes off in a weird, negative vibe. In business, I have begun to see the gender bias too present. From what I have observed, the most beautiful women are those excelling through hard work and logical analysis, working diligently, and taking no shit. I have, sadly, observed others a generation older act threatened and in competition with the women around them. As a result, they become insecure and competitive. It is important to remember that our dark rooms are twice as bright when we light anothers’ candle. This is perhaps my favorite metaphor of all time. In business, it seems that boss women simply assume the role she feels she deserves when it is available. This takes courage and boldness. I have so much respect for women I observe that have those traits. The women who are not afraid to cut off any other soul- male or female – to make their confident opinion known.
I could say so much about the beautiful women in my life. I could write a novel on each one of them! However, I wanted to name the individuals that have had a strong impact on my life, as the list is rather long.
I am continually inspired by other bloggers, but for today I am listing only the people I interact with or have interacted with in the past. If you are not on this list I probably just missed you as I am writing this late at night. I would say that every female friend, family, and acquaintance have inspired me in one way or another.

Every female is battling her own demons. Let us embrace and support one another.
I want to send a special thank you to all of these beautiful women and many more that are unnamed. You are included in this. I have been blessed to remain surrounded and influenced by beautiful, wholesome, supportive souls. A connection is rare and fickle and I do not forget anyone once they have influenced my life. You are beautiful. You are strong. You are unique. You are powerful. You are just like me and I am just like you.
Never judge another soul until you have walked a mile in their shoes.
