Workwear Wednesday: Formal Plaid, Fall Part 2

Happy Wednesday! I have been so busy at work this week between our ISO Internal Audit (I am the Internal Auditor), creating and gathering free trade agrements for 2018, and lots of fall projects in the works now that everyone is back from summer vacation. I am so excited about this series and to share with you outfits for the workplace, what I wear to work, and corporate-appropriate outfits!

Daylight savings made this shoot occur right at dusk, but I am in love with this easy plaid tunic from LOFT. Paired with some old Sperry Wedges I have owned for years, (just realizing I am styling Sperry shoes 2 workwear posts in a row) and my handy seamed Express leggings. I kept my hair easy and simple in a side bun because- let’s be reel- no one has time for straight, stringy hair.

Hoops are back in style with fun geometric shapes and accents for a modern update. These match any look from casual to dressy.

My Louis Vuitton is the Neverful MM, the medium size, that has plenty of room for my laptop, makeup bag, wallet, notebook, and phone. The GM is larger and might be better for travel, but I think a smaller bag is more professional and chic for the workplace.

I did not mean this to be such a similar look to the first workwear wednesday series, but you can definitely tell my go-to is black. It just so happened that this shoot was also on a rainy, wet day.

I am so excited for the changing leaves! Check back tomorrow for a recap of our Dia de Los Muertos themed Couples Shower we threw this past weekend for my youngest sister and her fiance. Happy Wednesday!

With Joy,

Audrey
