Hello friends, we have made it to the week of Christmas and we are halfway through the work week before the holiday celebrations start! Today I want to share a favorite and timeless winter look from Romwe Fashion. I jumped at the chance to work with Romwe.com because I have run across the site many times but never ordered anything before. I’m so excited to share my experience and review of the item. I chose a pink mini skirt since I do not own anything similar. Over-the-knee boots and mini skirts are both trending, and when paired together, create a killer look and winter outfit.
Romwe.com had a great selection of modern styles, colors, and trends. From sock boots to scrunchies to bell-sleeve sweaters and graphic tees, they have incredibly affordable options. My item shipped quickly and in good shape. The material was a soft corduroy and was better than the photos.
Perhaps a mini skirt is out of your comfort zone. THIS pink skirt falls mid-rise and has an A-line shape that hugs your curves but is long enough to remain modest. As you can see in the photos, it falls just above the knee and is high-waisted. The skirt comes with the brown belt, but I did not wear it for this shoot as it clashed with grey and black. The skirt was thick enough to keep me warm. Finally, with over-the-knee boots I felt stylish yet warm for a winter outfit.
Regarding the corduroy skirt, I ordered an XL per the sizing chart, but I should have ordered a Medium. In the future, I will choose an item true to size. Pay close attention to the reviews and you may need to convert your inch measurements to centimeters (just multiply your height in inches x 2.54). Size measurements ranging from 60-90+ are typically in centimeters.
I paired the skirt with my over-the-knee Stuart Weitzmans, HERE, but Romwe offers a gorgeous dupe for a fraction of the cost. Click HERE to browse Romwe’s boots. US sizes converted to EU and European sizing simply adds 30. For example, I wear an 8 so I would order a 38 in THESE boots.
Finally, I paired this look with a ruffled-sleeve top. The exact top is no longer available. I especially love THIS gorgeous style from Romwe.com that is going for $9.99 at the moment. I love how the ruffles at the end of the arms play off the A-line shape of the skirt. The mock-neck elongates the torso, particularly when paired with high boots. I love the combination of the grey and pink, and you will likely see more grey and pink combos on The Audrey Reel soon.
