Three Easy Ways to Wear Yellow

Happy Thursday Everyone! It is getting warmer out here in sunny Greenville, South Carolina, but I have been sunshine-greedy and craving yellow as of late!  Keep reading for three ways to wear yellow and examples of how to incorporate yellow pieces into your wardrobe.
I am enamored by this yellow Madewell midi skirt and have begun to notice yellow more frequently in fashion. Yellow is one color in which I always receive compliments. I believe this is primarily a result that yellow is less common in fashion and exudes a happy, joyful, fun vibe.
Solids are huge this summer which makes any solid yellow piece a good addition to your closet.  My coworker mentioned she could use some gold/yellow pieces for her daughter’s volleyball games, who plays at Wofford, a semi-local college team. As a result, I have been obsessing over some yellow items lately! Yellow can be bold for some, so I wanted to feature some beautiful pieces I have been eyeing and show how I would wear them.

Look #1: The Bohemian Prep Castaway

B.P. Twist Tee  – A classic staple piece.
Vanessa Mooney Tassel Earrings  – I have and love these; they are incredibly lightweight!
Pineapple Clutch – I love pineapple details for summer.
Tory Burch Espadrilles  – I have had these in my cart the last TWO Shopbop sales.  I will probably get them before summer ends!

Look #2: Holy Moly Hot Yellow

Boater Hat – This is absolutely the next thing I will buy for summer.

Off-the-shoulder yellow ruffle top – By one of my favorite blogger’s clothing lines, Cupcakes and Cashmere.

Steve Madden Clutch – This clutch is available in several colors- including yellow!

Levi 721 Holed Jeans – These are hard to track down and I have ordered 4 different sizes. Go one size up if you vary sizes.

Yellow Espadrilles Wedges – Alright, alright- not EVERYTHING has to match when it comes to pairing a statement color, but espadrilles are the bees knees right now: just read THIS post on 2017 shoe styles. I love that these are closed-toe and work appropriate. I also love THESE flat espadrilles.

Free People Perfectly Victorian Dress – I have teetered on buying this dress, but I can never decide on a color. Look how my friend Shana styled it on her blog Handstand Happiness!

Thierry Lasry Teal Bow Slide – Give me “all-of-the-bow-slides.”

Panacea Beaded Tassel Earring – Check out how huge tassel earrings are this year in THIS blog post.
