Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Highlighting Stick

Hello loves! I have been huge into highlighters recently although I definitely prefer a more glow rather than the glitter-esque tutorials you see on Instagram. I am psyched to review Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Highlight Stick. Although I received the product complimentary for testing purposes through Influenster, all opinions that follow are my own.

I opened the stick and was impressed with the simplistic yet sleek packaging unique to Hourglass Cosmetics. The color I use is “Champagne Flash,” rosey-gold sheen. I gravitate to yellow and pinks since they compliment my blue undertones and chestnut hair.

The stick is a creamy and blendable yet pigmented. This makes application and effects very natural. I have found such pigmentation in powders, but powders produce fall-out and do not possess that staying power.

I love that the Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Highlight Stick is triangular and has a twist-up packaging. Each twist lifts the stick, revealing 3 points from the triangular shape. These edges make it easy to reach small spots on your face such as under the brow. Next, I love it on the inners of your eyes to create that woken brightness made famous by Blake Lively and Victoria Secret models.

This photo is without Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Flash. My face is flat and dull even with natural light.

If you are new to highlighters, they add contour and dimension to your face by ‘highlighting’ the highest points on your face. I highlight under and above my brows, the middle points of my eyelid just above my mascara, cheeks, chin, and the end of my nose. Finally, I draw a teeny circle in the center of my forward a half-inch above my brow.

I would recommend this highlighter to anyone as it is a fool-proof formula. The creamy stick is better than any liquid or powder products I’ve tried. It is shimmery and not glittery. Go out and try the Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Highlight Stick!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday Loves!

With Joy,

Audrey
